This birdhouse is ready to hang right out of the box. It is an easy project the entire family can enjoy. It comes with an instructional booklet. It is a decorative backyard birdhouse that will bring joy to your life and offer housing for a little bird looking for a place to raise a family. This would also make a GREAT GIFT for the person in your life that LOVES ANGRY BIRDS!!!! Given the quality of the design and manufacturing, the price is more than reasonable. I consider this an incredible value. BUY IT !!!!

This flowerpot birdhouse is such a fun and unique idea! You can smell the cedar wood as soon as you open the box, which immediately makes it feel like high quality with good choice in materials. The paint job is vibrant and really well done - especially if you're an Angry Birds fan! The $40 price tag may seem a little pricey, but considering the cost of wood these days, I'm not especially surprised.The flowerpot section on top is thoughtfully designed, too. It's lined with plastic to help protect the wood from moisture, but it also includes drain holes so the soil doesn't get or stay overly wet. Another great feature is the access door in the birdhouse portion which makes it really easy to clean out between nesting seasons.Oh, and I REALLY appreciated the instruction manual. It doesn't just explain how to mount the birdhouse - it also gives helpful suggestions for flowers and plants that do well in a shallow planter like this one as well as what types of birds might make a nest inside. Overall, this birdhouse planter is very cute, functional, and well thought out!

I love thisAngry Birds X WildYard Birdhouse Planter for Outside! I mean come on a bird house with a planter on top made out of cedar which is one of the best woods that you can use for an outdoor project because it is durable. I think the idea of the plastic on top with the drain holes is very well thought out. You're putting succulents up there if you're wise and they don't need a lot of water and I'm hanging mine under an overhang where my trees are. You can easily clean this birdhouse by taking of the back with the included screwdriver. Again I think the design is wonderful and who doesn't love Angry Birds? Wonderful Birdhouse definitely a nice investment. There is nothing to assemble and it can fit anywhere.

When I opened this box I was in the RV Park office. The staff cracked up with me, and one of the ladies pulled out her personal keychain with a stuffed red angry bird...we laughed even harder. Everyone loves this Angry Bird house/planter!The build quality is excellent. It's made from real wood. The finished look is absolutely adorable! There is a removable door on the back side for cleaning out the inside of the birdhouse. The planting section is protected with super thick plastic stapled to the sides of the planter to keep water from saturating the wood. The beak post can be extended a bit. The photo that I include with this review highlights these quality points. I love this birdhouse planter! Yes, I would recommend this highly desirable product, with a 5-Star quality rating.

This Angry Birds birdhouse and planter is just plain silly, in a good way. It will provide an interesting addition to certain gardens that appreciate a sense of humor. That's really the whole point with this little guy. It's highly unlikely to attract birds, and the planter will be difficult to maintain because of the structure. Think of this as something just for fun.I put this silly guy out in my already silly garden patch where it felt immediately at home. Everyone who sees it laughs. The birds, however, have not approached it. The hole is too small for most birds, and that grouchy bird face will probably scare them off, anyway.The planter is an interesting idea, but the execution leaves something to be desired. A heavy plastic sheet covers the wood house (see photo), and drains via a number of very small holes at the bottom edges which drain directly onto the untreated wood house before making their way to four small drain holes that may or may not actually drain very well. I expect the whole thing to rot away within a year or so because of that. That would be okay if the price was lower, but at 40 bucks I would hope for something to last longer.Bottom line: This is a fun gadget to put out in the silly part of your yard for a season or so, but it probably won't be worth much more than that.

The door hole is a bit small for bluebirds but you may also get chickadees or other small birds in that size range. This is ABSOLUTELY a FUNCTIONAL birdhouse. It HAS a BIG clean out DOOR ON the BACK, so you can use it for multiple seasons. The door is screwed on and they include a screw driver to get it open (we may change it to a hinge for convenience). The birdhouse is, however, real wood. Many times the rain and moisture is just too hard on natural wood houses to get more than a season or two out of such houses. The flower area on top is lined with heavy plastic sheeting. We actually may try to grow flowers or grass in it. There are drainage holes holes at the bottom edge of the roof slope to allow the plants to drain out some water...this WILL cause moisture to have access to the wood beneath, and that may stay moist a lot...so we expect that using it to grow flowers would shorten the life span to one season, but that is ok for our purpose. The drip edge is placed well away from the housing however...so no one inside should get wet. The only concern is that the hanger loop is not very secure. it bends VERY easily and the screws are too small to hold it on reliably. We changed to screws with larger heads which helped. But overall, this is a really cute and novel birdhouse with decent workmanship for a single or maybe two season use.

This is a nice decorative planter.However, it's definitely not for birds.First of all, the whole is way too small.Maybe a small rink confident, but that's about all and there's no door to open up the nest area to clean out the nest.So after one year, it would be done.Because you're supposed to clean off the nest at the end of the season and you wouldn't be able to do that.The fact that there's no door makes it just not a practical birdhouse at all.The coloring is cool.It's very decorative, but it's just not functional for birds.I'm still planning to use it as a plant for them.Plant some stuff on top.It is at least beautiful

I really like the look of this birdhouse planter. It adds a fun pop of color to the yard and the wood construction feels decent for a decorative outdoor piece. Construction and assembly are good overall. Durability is good, but limited (elaborated later on). No issues with odor or appearance. Value is questionable as this will need a few tweaks to make it good, and as such, I do think this is a bit over priced for what is offered.Where I had issues with (and why I took off two stars), is that the planter portion is untreated wood. The constant exposure to water will cause the wood to rot. While the plastic sheet with drain holes may divert most of this, the wood will eventually rot and thereby, the lifespan of this birdhouse will be short.I ended up adding a polyurethane coat to the wood underneath (removed the liner), then added some plastic sheets and drilled holes to divert the water completely away from the wood, eventually funneled to a drain tube - imagine tiny gutters.Given these modifications, I think this will last a lot longer - however, for this price point, I expected more robust water deterrents and diversion.
