Overall: This birdhouse kid includes everything to put together the ‘Angry Birds’ themed birdhouse feeder- cedar wood pieces, screws, paint, brushes, and even includes a small philips screwdriver so you literally don’t need anything but a pencil, convenient! Excellent instructions, easy to follow, just takes time and you get a ton of ‘Angry Bird’ character stencils to personalize. Two brushes, set of paint colors are small sizes but enough to paint many characters- the only issue I had was I wanted to use blue as background but couldn’t. Good for kids or as a family project in particular since the project is easy, creative,and the cedar working bird house feeder a useful end product.All the wood parts fit perfectly, so that leaves you with the screwing pieces together and painting- a fun family project. For adults looking for a bird house, this is more for the creative process and the characters versus you could just buy yourself a pre-assembled bird house. I considered using an electric screwdriver but I didn’t want to break any wood,I used their little screwdriver. Fun kit for building with a 6+ years old, or giving to a 8-10yr old for an hour of peace and quiet. Kit goes together fairly easily. No problems with pieces missing. Paint seems ok to start, but recommend a couple clear coats overtop to make it last more than a year or so. Have yet to see any birds inside but im still hopeful it will happen eventually. This is the third bird house put up in our yard.

Although, it is not a very big concern to me personally.This house does not come with any hook or tie that can be connected to hang it from a tree, which is a bit disappointing.The listing should also be updated that "YES" assembly is required.Overall, this is a fun project for Angry Bird fans and teens that want to practice building things and doing artwork. It is a very fun project that has a little room for improvement with quality control and including methods to hang it up.

This build it yourself birdhouse kit is wonderful!This kit encourages children to work with a parental figure or other adult to build this fun and easy to build bird house! A screwdriver is included in this set as are all the pieces necessary to put this together!If you choose to purchase this creative set, not only will you be teaching your children basic carpentry and encouraging their creative skills, you will also be bonding in a sweet and wonderful manner together!It will probably take much less than an hour to put this birdhouse together if your children are working with an adult. Then they have the option to paint and decorate this birdhouse if they wish.The manufacturer believes that this birdhouse will be appropriate for a number of birds to nest in that are usually found in semi urban settings with only one pictured on the exterior of the box that would probably not be found frequently in these settings.This is an easy, fun and creative project to do with your child or children! Not only will your children learn helpful skills. They will also learn to appreciate more about nature! This is a wonderful investment not only in their creativity but also their maturity and commitment to the environment!

Easy assembly with all tools included. Quality, sturdy wood and a decent sized bird house! This comes with two sets of stencils, one has just the outline of the birds and you can create your own faces. The other has the body and faces in the design. This was an easy enough project to do with my 5 year old! If you don’t want to use the stencils, you can use the paint to create any design of your choice. We painted in the sun which allowed each side to dry as we moved on to the next so we could circle back for a second or third coat in the same sitting.

This is a really cute little birdhouse kit, especially if you have kids that love crafts or Angry Birds. The wood pieces were already cut and pre-drilled, so putting it together was pretty straightforward and didn’t turn into one of those “why did I buy this” craft moments. 😂The wood is lightweight but feels decent for the price, and I liked that it’s real wood instead of cheap cardboard or foam pieces. The Angry Birds theme made it more fun and kept kids interested longer than a plain birdhouse probably would have.The paint set and stickers are simple, but enough to get started right away. I’d recommend putting down newspaper first because kids absolutely go full chaos mode with paint no matter what.This feels more like a fun activity project than a super serious outdoor birdhouse, but for crafting together, birthday parties, classrooms, or rainy afternoons, it’s honestly a cute little kit.

If your kids already love Angry Birds, the themed design absolutely adds excitement and makes it feel more engaging than a plain paint-your-own birdhouse.The kit idea is solid: build, paint, decorate. But at this price point, you are definitely paying extra for the branded novelty factor. That said, as a family activity or gift, it still has real value if your goal is screen-free entertainment and something hands-on.This included paint (though not many color options, my kids pulled out their own paints so it was fine) and stencils. The pieces were easy to put together. Overall it was a fun experience, though there are many kits at lower price points that can create the same experience. It gives the impression you're paying mostly for the angry bird stencils.

...I am concerned about the strong incense cedar smell, as the volatiles in the air can be a problem for some birds' respiratory tract. I'm considering turning it into a feeder by cutting out most of the front panel, so it will be much better ventilated. The incense cedar is beautiful and smells amazing, though! The kit was made very well, with all the pre-drilled holes lining up perfectly! As a frequent buyer of flat-pack items and furniture, this was a very pleasant surprise! The instructions provided great visual and textual guidance. As noted before, the quality of the wood is great, and the brushes seem good, as well. I was able to put it together with the provided screws and little screwdriver within about 20 minutes. I haven't yet decided if I'm going to paint it or stain it yet, since I'm not a big Angry Birds fan. The quality of the kit, along with the promise of occupying your kids for a while, make me feel like $30 USD is a fair price. If you're an adult who doesn't care about Angry Birds, you can probably find a kit of the same quality for a little cheaper, but this is still such a high quality kit that I feel okay recommending it for $30!

I really like this birdhouse kit overall but with one concern and one caveat. What I love about this kit is that the pieces of the house are well-made (cut accurately so everything lines up and the sizing of the entry hole is accurate for small birds) and the wood itself is high quality cedar; also I think the paints and the brushes are good quality as well, particularly for a kids' craft kit. The stencils are fine if you want to use them but not necessary (this kit will be a summer project for my 6+ yr old grandchild when they visit and I'm pretty certain they will want to just do their own thing, painting freehand). I am surprised and a bit concerned that this birdhouse kit does not include a predator guard for the entry hole (either a circular metal plate/ring to attach around the edge of the the entry hole to prevent predators from chewing their way in and/or a metal mesh tube leading into the entry hole)...I can figure out something makeshift but, as it is, this birdhouse won't be safe from predators for nesting birds without an entry guard. I also think the price is fair if you value the "Angry Birds" stencils (which are trendy & popular with kids) but if not, you can find similar quality bird house kits with basic paints, brushes, and hardware for less expense (and maybe use the extra $$ to buy more varied paints).

This is a very cute birdhouse set. I got it for my kids to make. They love having the birds out. It is a good design and it was pretty easy for them to make. They love to being able to paint it how they wanted. There were enough colors and they really enjoyed their design. It wasn't too hard for them to make and it looked nice when it was done. I think this makes a great present for a kid. I thought the quality was fine and it was a decent value. There wasn't anything I didn't like about it.
