How to install
The WildYard Squirrel House arrives fully assembled and installs in just a few minutes. Simply mount it to a tree, wall, or wooden post using the included hardware.
For best results, place the squirrel house 6–8 feet off the ground in a quiet area near trees or natural squirrel activity. The built-in feeder easily slides into place, and the front access door makes setup and cleaning simple.
To help keep squirrels safe from predators, avoid mounting directly below large overhanging branches.

Will squirrels actually use it?
Yes — particularly if you've got natural squirrel activity in the area already. Place it 6–8 feet up on a mature tree near cover, drop some nuts or seeds on the feeder shelf, and they'll typically scout within days. Full move-in often happens within a few weeks. Patience helps — wildlife works on its own timeline.
Won't this attract squirrels to my house?
